Preamble
CAILLAU’s ambition is based on values shared by all its employees. The company’s policy is to ensure that its activities are conducted in accordance with high standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
These values must enable us to fully respond to the trust placed in the Company by its customers, staff, shareholders, suppliers and all of its partners.
The rules recalled below are not intended to replace or amend the laws and regulations in force, but to provide everyone with elements of assessment and references in the conduct of their professional activities. The code of conduct (QSE 00 0004) thus formalizes the company’s common principles and reference bodies, so that everyone in the company refers to them in all circumstances.
OUR CORE VALUES
CAILLAU’s values are a statement for each of us. They are the anchor for the behavior of the women and men who represent the company.
– The customer: Our success depends directly on the satisfaction of our customers. Each entity, each process is organized to best serve the customer (internal or external), that is, to improve the quality of our services.
– Safety and the environment: For CAILLAU, employee safety is essential. Safety and respect for the environment in the workplace are everyone’s daily business.
– Staff development: The company is concerned with staff development through training to adapt the skills of each individual to the requirements of necessary developments.
– Culture of change: To remain competitive, the speed of change at CAILLAU must be greater than the one of our environment (competition, customers, suppliers, etc.). Speed of reaction and concentration of resources is the key to successful change. Management creates a positive mindset versus of change by explaining the challenges and supporting employee initiatives.

No. 1: RESPECT HUMAN RIGHTS
The principle:
CAILLAU is committed to respecting and promoting human rights , in accordance with the United Nations Global Compact, in all countries where it operates.
CAILLAU also ensures that it offers and guarantees, everywhere, safe and healthy working conditions and respect for fundamental freedoms for its employees.
Caillau respects human rights regarding child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking in its internal organization and in its relationships with all of its service providers. By extension, our principles include respect for minorities and indigenous peoples.
No. 2: RESPECT FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE
The principle:
CAILLAU respects everyone’s beliefs and recognizes its employees’ right to free expression.
We are also committed to developing social dialogue and invite our employees to express themselves freely in order to improve their working environment while acting in accordance with the rules set out in the code.
No. 3: GUARANTEE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES
The principle:
CAILLAU is committed to establishing a working environment that protects the physical and mental health as well as the safety of its employees.
This is a top priority for the company and must be everyone’s business.
CAILLAU raises awareness among all its employees about the risks associated with the company’s activities, whether physical or psychological. CAILLAU is also committed to maintaining impeccable standards and level of hygiene throughout the site.
Finally, we are committed to enabling our employees to achieve the right balance between their private and professional lives, and to improving Working Conditions (according to the terms of the interprofessional agreement of December 2020)
No. 4: FOSTER TEAM DIVERSITY
The principle:
CAILLAU’s greatest strength is its employees. CAILLAU’s policy is to recruit, train and promote its staff, in all positions, according to the abilities and skills of each individual.
Through equal opportunities, CAILLAU aims to develop diversity and career paths for women within its teams, both in technical and managerial positions. The implementation of job fairs allows for open positions to be offered to all employees before any external recruitment campaign is launched.
No. 5: PROHIBIT AND PREVENT ALL FORMS OF HARASSMENT
CAILLAU is committed to maintaining a professional environment in which employees are treated with respect and are not subject to any moral or sexual harassment.
CAILLAU does not tolerate any form of violence that constitutes harassment, regardless of its nature. Every employee has the right to work in an environment that excludes any form of harassment that violates their dignity and physical or psychological integrity.
Thus, CAILLAU prohibits :
Any form of moral harassment: any inappropriate behavior such as humiliation, intimidation, vexatious remarks and gestures, aimed at hurting colleagues and collaborators.
Hierarchical authority may not be used for purposes other than ensuring the proper functioning of the company. It must be exercised with moderation and discernment, and must not lead to any abuse or harassment.
No. 6: FIGHTING FRAUD, CORRUPTION AND INFLUENCE PEDDLING
The principle :
CAILLAU rejects fraud, corruption and influence peddling in all their forms, including through intermediaries: they are unacceptable and subject to zero tolerance.
CAILLAU applies international conventions relating to the fight against corruption of public officials.
CAILLAU requires its employees to act with honesty and integrity in all circumstances and in all places, which implies strict compliance with the laws in force regarding the fight against corruption and influence peddling in all countries in which CAILLAU is likely to operate.
As an employee, you must therefore comply with these regulations and apply the applicable rules regarding the prevention and fight against fraud, corruption and influence peddling.
No. 7: RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT
The principle:
CAILLAU pursues an active environmental protection policy.
The company is concerned about the environmental footprint of its products. Its actions include limiting the use of raw materials, optimizing natural resources, using renewable energy, favoring clean energy suppliers, reducing waste production at all stages of product manufacturing, and encouraging recycling.
No. 8: RESPECT FOR CONFIDENTIALITY
The principle:
Caillau respects and ensures compliance with this Charter by its staff and service providers involved in the processing of personal data. The purposes of the processing are explained when the data is collected, and the explicit consent of the persons concerned is required. The processing of these aspects is managed in accordance with the GDPR procedure (p.PP 01.283) and charter (QSE 00 1006).
Innovation is the driving force behind CAILLAU, it is our trademark and reflects CAILLAU’s pioneering spirit.
The disclosure of our secrets and, more broadly, the unauthorized disclosure of information obtained in the course of your professional activity, may cause serious harm to CAILLAU.
The processing of sensitive technical data confidentiality is managed according to the procedure (p.PP 01.282) and the charter (QSE 00 0005) relating to the Security of Information Systems, derived from the General Policy on the Security of Information Systems (p.PP 01.269).
