QUICK CONNECTORS

Presentation:

The CAILLAU quick connectors consist of a PA6.6 FV body and a stainless steel lock. They ensure tightness between a hose and a pipe-end for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +130°C (150°C peaks).

They are particularly adapted to automotive cooling and heating applications.

CAILLAU offers different solutions for the connection with the hoses (CLIC^® R, CLIC^® E, VISA^® …).

Characteristics:

• Quick fitting.
• Manual fitting and removal.
• Reusable connector.
• Withstands fluids (fuel, oil, glycol…).
• Lock insensitive to ageing/corrosion (salt spray resistance over 1,000 hrs).

HOP^® connectors

• Available references: diameters 16, 18, 20 and 35 mm (diameter of the pipe-end to be connected) in straight or angled (90° – 120°) versions.
• Fitting force below 14 daN.
• Removal force below 10 daN.
• Pull-off force over 60 daN.
• Withstand pressures up to 15 bar.

VDA connectors

• Available references: diameter 22.3 and diameter 38.5 mm in straight or angled (90° – 120 – 135 °) versions.
• Fitting force below 14 daN.
• Removal force below 10 daN.
• Pull-off force over 200 daN.
• Withstand pressures up to 20 bar.
• O-ring retained by a feature moulded in the body (secure retention of the O-ring).
• Body and pipe-end can be interchanged (connector consisting of 2 welded parts).
• Body / pipe-end can be indexed in rotation.
• Secure locking but easy removal without tools (pulling or pushing the lock).
• O-ring material adapted to the application (Vamac, EPDM…).
