CLIC^® E

As a perfect synthesis of all CAILLAU’s know how, the CLIC^® E is each day more popular as it provides premium performance in an ever more challenging environment.

The CLIC^® E clamp consists of two 9 mm-wide stainless steel bands: “latch” and “belt”, respectively 0.5 mm and 0.6 mm-thick.

The CLIC^® E clamps are available from diameters 11.5 mm to 75 mm.

Main functions:

Ensure a tight fitting between a pipe-end and a hose at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +140°C.

Characteristics:

• High clamping force.
• Very good clamping circularity.
• Very efficient spring function: the clamp offers good clamping force when cold (thermal contraction of the hose), thus it still ensures tightness.
• Excellent resistance to pull-off, disconnection and vibration stresses.
• Quick fitting (manual or pneumatic pliers).
• Removable and reusable.

Applications:

The excellent technical performance of the CLIC^® E clamp (clamping force and homogeneity, quality of the spring function) makes it suitable for high-duty applications: cooling, heating, power steering, hydraulic systems.

These clamps must be fitted with specific fitting tools. Manual, pneumatic, or electric fitting tools are available. Some tools have a fitting control function. The electric tool can be equipped with a electronic control unit (ECU) that can communicate fitting information to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
